With the pro-d and being sick, I'm a bit behind. I have, however, noticed that no one actually responds to these till late Sunday.

The citizens are content and happy to live within the fulfilling World State except Bernard. Due to his different mindset, the others avoid him and mock his isolated behavior. However, I believe Bernard can overcome his conditioning and social experience. It will not be an easy task because of much pressure from the society. Despite the continuous conditioning like the Solidarity Service, he wishes to escape and be free so that he can be “not enslaved.” After the brainwashing and conditioning, Bernard is never manipulated. During his date with Lenina, his speech on being an adult demonstrates his strong belief and commitment. Although his effort failed to make Lenina understand his feeling, someday he will overcome his obstacles and revolve the World State.
